London, June 4 (IANS) English singer Gary Barlow feels that Prince Charles is a great company to be with.

The Take That singer met Charles to discuss the plans for the official Diamond Jubilee song "Sing" to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne. The four-day celebrations began Sunday.

"He's such good company, Prince Charles. He has a fantastic sense of humour. He's a cool guy," contactmusic.com quoted Barlow as saying.

The singer worked on the song with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and he says he is very proud of the track, which he wrote in Kenya's Aberdare National Park, where the queen first learned of her father's death and became the monarch.

"It was just so fitting and quite beautiful, I felt, to write the words to the song at the spot where the queen's personal journey began," the 41-year-old singer said.
