FM spokesman: de-nuclearization of Korean Peninsula conforms with common interests

Beijing, June 1 (Xinhua-ANI): A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday that the realization of de-nuclearization on the Korean Peninsula conforms with the common interests of all relevant parties.

Spokesman Liu Weimin made the remark at a routine press briefing when commenting on media reports saying that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has described itself as a "nuclear-armed state" in the latest version of its constitution.

He said it is in the common interests of all relevant parties to realize de-nuclearization and maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. (Xinhua-ANI)
