'The Angels' Share' wins jury prize at Cannes

Cannes, May 28 (IANS) "The Angels' Share" directed by Britain's Ken Loach was awarded the jury prize at the closing ceremony of the 65th Cannes film festival, Xinhua reported.

It is a comedy about teenage ex-offenders turning to whisky-tasting. The director is a previous Palme d'Or winner in 2006 with Irish war drama "The Wind That Shakes the Barley".

The top prize Palme d'Or went to Michael Haneke's "Amour" (Love) while the second place Grand prize was given to Matteo Garrone's "Reality" as the 12-day movie showcase ended Sunday night.
