Grant Bowler to play Richard Burton in Liz Taylor biopic

Melbourne, May 26 (ANI): Australian actor Grant Bowler has been cast alongside Lindsay Lohan in the Elizabeth Taylor biopic 'Liz and Dick'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bowler has landed the coveted role ahead of A-list actors such as George Clooney, who Lohan previously expressed her desire to see in the role, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Bowler - who made it big in the US with a roles in 'True Blood' and 'Ugly Betty' - is best know locally for 'All Saints', 'Outrageous Fortune' and 'Blue Heelers'.
The biopic is being made into a TV movie for Lifetime and will follow Richard Burton and Taylor's infamous romance which started on the set of 'Cleopatra' and saw them marry twice. (ANI)
