Cheryl Cole rubbishes American Idol judging job rumors

London, May 25 (ANI): Cheryl Cole has denied reports that she has been lined up to be the fourth judge on American Idol.

The singer, who was famously axed from the US version of The X Factor last year just after four episodes - was said to be wanted by producers of the show to join Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler on the panel.

The 28-year-old star has reportedly been made a multi-million dollar offer to join the show - the direct rival of The X Factor USA, the Daily Mail reported.

However, she has thoroughly denied the rumors saying that there is 'no truth to it' whatsoever.

"It will be interesting to see how Jennifer Lopez deals with another beautiful woman sitting alongside her," a source told the New York Post newspaper.

The stories doing round claim that the singer could actually replace Lopez, who has recently hinted she may quit the show after two years on the panel.

Bosses were said to be willing to pay Cole in the region of 5m dollars to 10m dollars, as compared to Jennifer's 15m dollars to 20m dollars. (ANI)
