Chinese Police crack down on online gun sales network
Nanning (China), May 25 (Xinhua-ANI): Chinese police have arrested a gang suspected of being behind an online network that sold smuggled firearms to gun enthusiasts across the country, it was announced on Friday.

Fourteen people, including three gun dealers and buyers, have been apprehended in the transprovincial police operation since December.
The gun sales scheme came to light after police seized several bullets concealed in an express package sent from Nanning to Tianjin last October.
Three men, surnamed Li, Zhang and Liu, are suspected of spiriting guns and amunition into China through its border with Thailand since 2010, selling them to online buyers, with the goods delivered in express packages.
Liu, suspected of managing the online sales, was arrested last December, which was followed by the arrest of Zhang, and Li was deported back from Thailand under custody on May 9, 2012.
