London, May 24(ANI): Arsenal's latest young talent Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has said he would like captain Robin Van Persie to stay at the club since he has a massive positive impact on dressing room.
Chamberlain said Van Persie is very important to the club, as evident in the last season.
"It's clear how important he has been for us with the goals he's scored, he is one of the best strikers in the world," The Sun quoted Chamberlain, as saying.
"He's a massive part of the dressing room, helping all of us and speaking to the manager about what we're feeling, what we want and what we can do better," he added.
"He even does the little things like arranging get-togethers with players' wives and barbecues and fun days and golf days," he said.
Van Persie, who has been linked to a number of top clubs including champions Manchester City, has one season left on his current deal and has started talks with boss Arsene Wenger over a new contract. (ANI)
