Pregnant Snooki expecting a boy, but wished for girl

Washington, May 24 (ANI): 'Jersey Shore' star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who announced Wednesday that she is expecting a baby boy, was wishing to have a daughter.

Polizzi, 24, told In Touch Weekly that she had hoped she was pregnant with a girl, but said, "It's still my baby, no matter what. I'm excited either way!"

The reality star and her fiance Jionni LaValle, 25, are still deciding on names, but have narrowed it down to either Lorenzo or Jionni Jr.

The baby is due in September and rumours are swirling Polizzi could exit the MTV party show once she becomes a parent.

"I'm not going to party hard anymore, even after the baby is born," Fox News quoted her as telling the gossip magazine.

"Being a mom changes you," she said. (ANI)
