New swimsuit 'allows girls to drop a dress size without going on diet'

London, May 24 (ANI): Women, who are finding it tough to shed a few pounds before setting out on vacations, will be pleased by a new single-piece slim suit, which will make them look a whole size smaller.

Being touted as a diet in a swimsuit, the clever cossie - launched by Asda- was pioneered by Kate Winslet's famous dress.

To start with, the special design materials suck in tummies and push up boobs for a Pamela Anderson-style cleavage.

Besides this, the super-stretchy elastane which smoothes and flattens the stomach is combined with push-up bra-style pads.

And last but not the least, the black side paneling - contrasting with the white of the swimsuit - creates the illusion of an even smaller waistline and hourglass shape, the Sun reported.

This technique however, was famously pioneered in a Stella McCartney number worn by Kate in 2011.

"Putting on swimwear for the first time after months of covering up is a daunting experience for most women," said Fiona Lambert, Asda's George brand director.

"The art of clever design to enhance and flatter your curves is no longer only available in dresses - George has come to the rescue with the slim suit so women can look curvy and feel confident on holiday and still enjoy themselves with the odd indulgence," she added.

Research for 'Asda' shows that 69 percent of women expect to gain at least half a stone weight during their annual summer holiday. (ANI)
