Hot day for Delhi

New Delhi, May 24 (IANS) It was a hot, sunny morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling a notch above average at 27.3 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a hot day in store with the mercury hovering at the 44 degrees Celsius mark.

 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the skies will remain clear and sunny through the day.

 

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 24 percent.

 

Wednesday's maximum temperature was three notches above average at 42.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 26.3 degrees Celsius -- normal for this time of the season.
