New Delhi, May 23 (IANS) The capital woke up to a bright, sunny Wednesday with the minimum temperature reaching 26.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year. The met department has forecast a clear day ahead.
"Mainly clear skies today (Wednesday). The maximum temperature is expected to reach 43 degrees Celsius," an official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 33 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature shot three notches above normal to 42.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was one notch above normal at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
