Mumbai, May 21 (ANI): Over 100 people, including 38 women and 19 foreign nationals were arrested by Mumbai Police, who claim to have busted an alleged rave party in city's Oakwood Hotel in Juhu last night.

Two IPL players, Rahul Sharma of India and Wayne Parnell of South Africa, both of who play for Pune Warriors India in the Indian Premier League (IPL), were detained and questioned. Doubts, however, remain whether they consumed drugs at the party.

The party organizer, Vishesh Vijay Handa, has been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The police said they have recovered about 110 grams of cocaine, and maintained that a medical examination would confirm the guilty. All the detainees, including the cricketers, were taken to the Juhu police station and made to undergo medical tests, the results of which are awaited.

"Only after the blood and urine test results come, will we know who all are responsible," the police said.

The cricketers were later released on bonds. (ANI)
