Islamabad, May 21 (IANS) The Pakistan Supreme Court Monday ordered confiscation of all vehicles that are plying on the country's roads without being duly registered with authorities, Online news agency reported.

While resuming proceedings of a case in the SC registry office of Balochistan regarding the law and order situation in the western province, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry issued the order after he learned that the customs authorities used to allow drivers to ply unregistered vehicles for a bribe.

The court has given 15 days to government authorities to seize all such unregistered vehicles.
