200,000 cups of tea on Elizabeth's jubilee

london, May 21 (IANS) Britons across the country will celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Elizabeth by consuming more than 200,000 cups of tea and 30,000 scones, a study has said.
According to the National Trust, around 40,000 litres of tea will be drunk, and over 30,000 scones will be eaten. Britons will also have more than 11,000 sandwiches.
Britons will use enough picnic rugs to cover six football pitches, the Daily Express reported.
