Drunk golfer uses heart of German city as driving range

Melbourne, May 21 (ANI): A drunk man in Germany was arrested after using the centre of the historic city of Cologne as a golf driving range.

The 44-year-old golfer began hitting balls down streets in the city on Saturday, News.com.au reported.

One of his errant shots hit a taxi, and the driver confronted the man after hearing a loud bang and discovering a golf ball next to his vehicle.

But when he was approached, the golfer began swearing and packed up his clubs.

The taxi driver called the police after noticing the golfer was carrying a knife.

Police arrested the golfer on charges of dangerously interfering with traffic, property damage and abusive and threatening behaviour. He was kept in police cells to sober up. (ANI)
