Two-seater plane crashes in N. Philippines, casualties still unknown
Manila, May 18 (Xinhua-ANI): A two-seater military aircraft crashed along La Monja Island in Bataan, western Luzon Island, the casualties is still unknown, the Philippine Coast Guard said Friday.
Fishermen in the area found some floating parts of the aircraft and reported it to the coast guard.
The coast guard has already started search and rescue operations. But they havn't found any bodies yet.
Vice Admiral Edmund Tan, Coast Guard commandant, cited initial information indicating a pilot and a copilot were aboard the plane when it took off from Sangley in Cavite province. (Xinhua-ANI)
