Sunny morning, hot day ahead for Delhi

New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) Delhi woke up to a bright, sunny Wednesday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 25.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
"We should have mainly clear skies today while the maximum temperature should be around 42 degrees Celsius," an official from the Indian Meteorological Department told IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 34 percent.
The capital saw maximum and minimum temperatures of 39.8 and 26.4 degrees Celsius, respectively.
