Two killed, 37 injured in Kashmir road accident

Srinagar, May 16 (IANS) Two people were killed and 37 others injured Wednesday when an overloaded bus turned turtle en route to Jammu and Kashmir summer capital Srinagar.

 

According to police, the bus coming from Branwar village turned turtle at Dadwompora village in central Badgam district, 17 kilometres from here.

 

"Thirty-nine passengers were injured in the accident, two of whom died, while others are being treated in the hospital," police said.

 

Senior civil and police officials rushed to the spot to supervise relief and rescue operations.
