New York, May 16 (ANI): Brooklyn Decker, who has been making the transition from modeling to acting, has admitted that there is a lot of scope for improving as far as her acting skills are concerned.
The former Sports Illustrated cover model revealed that she is trying hard to get better on screen
"I'm still studying to get better. It goes without saying that I have a lot of room for improvement. Sometimes people are like, 'Oh, is that girl the model?' But I think [my modeling background] opened doors. I can't bite the hand that fed me. Once people give me a chance they realize, 'OK, she's here to work,'" the New York Post quoted her as telling.
Decker, who has two high profile movies arriving in theaters 'Battleship' and 'What To Expect When You're Expecting', was bitten by the acting bug after landing a part in the Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler flop "Just Go With It."
The 25-year-old actress asserted that she loved the experience of filming action flick "Battleship."
"Battleship is a big fun action movie, full of CGI and aliens and all that," she said.
Talking about the pregnancy comedy "What To Expect When You're Expecting" the actress revealed that it was a very different cup of tea. She was clearer on which direction to take her character
"I knew this girl, so when I went into the audition, I tapped into her."
"She's just fun and over the top and ridiculous. She's really just kind of shameless in a way," she added. (ANI)
