Corporate finance company contemplates buying Blackburn from Venkys

London, May 13(ANI): A corporate finance company owned by Blackburn Rovers fans is considering buying out the relegated club from their Indian owners Venkys.

Seneca Partners, owned by Ian Battersby and Ian Currie, are contemplating a takeover even though Venkys maintain they remain committed for the long haul, The Daily Express reports.

Meanwhile, a campaign for a fans' takeover is gathering pace with nearly two million pounds pledged so far. (ANI)
