Ann Romney dubs Michelle Obama 'lovely'

New York, May 12 (ANI): Ann Romney, the wife of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, praised Michelle Obama and called her "lovely," on Friday.

She insisted that the First Lady does a good job handling the intense pressure that comes with having a husband in the White House.

"I think she's lovely ... Everyone can appreciate it is a very difficult position to be in, where your husband's under enormous scrutiny all the time and attacks from one side or the other," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Fox News.

She further said that she respected Michelle's "composure" and ability to keep calm.

Ann Romney, a breast cancer survivor who suffers from multiple sclerosis, said her health struggles would most likely impact what she wants to accomplish if she becomes First Lady.

"Every First Lady brings her own personality to the White House," she said.

"It's going to have something to do with things I care about, the things I love. Having had breast cancer I'm sure I'll be involved in breast cancer awareness. Having had multiple sclerosis I'm sure ... I'll be trying to promote research," she said.

On being asked about her husband's vice presidential picks, Romney remained mum but admitted it was "always fun to talk about."

"It's not like I'm his adviser," she added. (ANI)
