Two killed, seven injured in Agra truck crash

Agra, May 11 (IANS) Two people were killed and seven of a family injured when a mini-truck in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck at Kiraoli crossing on the Agra-Jaipur highway early Friday, police said.

 

 

 

The seven-member family was coming from Delhi with their household goods when the accident took place at Kiraoli crossing, about 22 km from here.

 

The driver and helper of the vehicle were killed in the accident, and their identities were yet to be ascertained, police said. The injured were undergoing treatment at the S.N. Medical College here, they added.

 

 

Uma Charan, head of the family, told police that he had hired the DCM-Toyota mini-truck to haul his household goods from Delhi to Mahua town in Agra district.
