Warm Tuesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, May 8 (IANS) It was a warm morning in the capital Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling two notches above average at 27.2 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast rains towards the evening.

 

"The skies will remain partly cloudy and some parts of the capital will be lashed by rains towards the evening or night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

 

"The maximum temperature will hover around 39 degrees Celsius," added the official.

 

The humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 43 percent.

 

Monday's maximum temperature was a notch above average at 39.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum was a notch below average at 24.6 degrees.
