Gautam Gambhir fined for slow over rate

New Delhi, May 8 (IANS) Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir has been fined after the team maintained a slow over rate during Monday night's Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozeshah Kotla.
At the end of the match, Knight Riders were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.
Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Gambhir was fined $20,000.
