Islamabad loses athletics meet

Islamabad, May 7 (IANS) The 44th National Athletics Championship has been shifted out of Islamabad due to law and order situation and will be held in Karachi, authorities said Monday.

 

According to the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, the decision was made to ensure fool-proof security arrangements during the championship, adding that the event would start as scheduled.
