Bell seeks redemption by scoring Test century against Windies at Lord's

London, May 6(ANI): England batsman Ian Bell, who failed terribly in the subcontinent conditions this winter, is now targeting a Test century during the first match of the Test series against the West Indies at Lord's, starting on May 17.
Bell scored 134 runs in five Test matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and he wants to make amends by scoring a ton against the Windies.
Warwickshire batsman Bell struck 120 in the County Championship contest against Durham last week to signal a return to form following an unproductive trot at the start of 2012.
Bell scored a century against the Windies in the corresponding fixture in 2007, and is keen to repeat the feat.
"I've scored a hundred before against them at Lord's, so it would be nice to go out and do it again. I haven't played a lot against them in recent times, so this will be a fresh challenge," The Daily Mirror quoted Bell, as saying.
"They have got some good young cricketers coming through at the minute from what I have see. Roach is obviously a good bowler and any -seamer - in the kind of damp conditions we are currently experiencing - that can get a good line and length going will be hard work," he added.
"These guys bowl at a good pace as well, and any time you play West -Indies, with people like Fidel," he said.
Bell believes he is regaining his rhythm back, and hopes he gets his form back on track.
"The rhythm has been coming back over the past couple of months, and hopefully this sets up my summer,' Bell said.
"When you are playing well you find that whenever you get a half-bad ball you generally find the gap. In the past six months I have not been doing that," he added. (ANI)
