Arsenal boss Wenger slams Stoke's boo-boys

London, Apr 30 (ANI): Arsene Wenger has slammed a jeering crowd for targeting Arsenal captain Aaron Ramsey during the one all draw against Stoke City.

The Britannia Stadium crowd scoffed at Ramsey and also taunted Wenger mercilessly.

"I don't think that you can be especially proud to boo Aaron Ramsey because I don't see what he has done wrong in his behaviour. That's a story where the fans of Stoke stand behind that player (Shawcross) but they shouldn't go as far as booing Aaron Ramsey," Sports24 quoted Wenger, as saying.

Wenger claimed that the he had "enough experience to cope" with the riduciuling crowd and "it doesn't bother me too much".

However, he stressed that football authorities must address the issue of abusive fans eventually.

"One day football has to face this and tackle that because it's easy to sit in the stand and insult people," he added. (ANI)
