Courtney Love apologises to daughter Frances Bean Cobain on Twitter

Washington, Apr 15 (ANI): Courtney Love has apologised to her daughter Frances Bean Cobain for her recent twitter rant.

Love had earlier angered her daughter by claiming on the social media site that Kurt Cobain's former band mate Dave Grohl "hit on" Frances Bean, but now Love says she regrets spreading the rumor, which was denied by both Grohl and Frances.

"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip," the People magazine quoted her as tweeting on early Saturday.

"Mommy loves you," she said.

Frances angrily answered her mom's earlier accusations on Thursday saying, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."

The former drummer had also said that the claims were "offensive and absolutely untrue."

Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles. (ANI)
