Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou lands role as new Bond girl

Washington, Apr 7 (ANI): James Bond's latest girlfriend in the upcoming Bond movie 'Skyfall' will be played by Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou, according to 007 fan site MI6.

The actress took to her Facebook account to break the news about her new role.

"Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!! Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life bitches!!!!" Fox News quoted her as posting.

Sotiropoulou will start shooting the movie later this month in Istanbul. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 9, 2012.

According to the fan site, 'Skyfall' also features another newcomer - French actress Berenice Marlohe, who beat Sotiropoulou for the major role of Severine.

Daniel Craig returns as Bond, and the cast also includes Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes. (ANI)
