Abu Dhabi, Jan 24(ANI): Pakistan's paceman Mohammad Talha has been ruled out of the ongoing Test series against England due to a back problem.

Pakistan team manager Naved Cheema said Talha, who has been diagnosed with a problem in a spinal disc, needed ten to twelve days rest, and would return to Pakistan once his back pain subsided.

Cheema added that the Pakistan team did not need a substitute, The Daily Times reports.

Talha did not play in the first Test against England but claimed four wickets in the warm-up match against England before the beginning of the series.

Talha has so far played one Test against Sri Lanka in Karachi in 2009. (ANI)
