Rajnath Singh calls for stringent law to tackle terrorism
New Delhi, Sept 29 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Rajnath Singh on Monday stressed on the need of stringent law to tackle the menace of terrorism in the country.
BJP kick started party's campaign in Punjab for the upcoming Lok Sabha poll today. He also called for building a national consensus on the issue.

He lambasted the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre for pursuing vote bank politics on the terror issue.
Singh further said that even the Administrative Reforms Commission, headed by Veerappa Moily has recommended the need for a tough law to deal with terrorism.
Accusing Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh government of being soft on terror, he said due to its "non-serious" approach, militants' morale was high and they were carrying out strikes with impunity.
The BJP chief said in the end that tackling terrorism would be the main focus of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the event of its coming to power at the Centre. (ANI)
