London , Wed, 04 Aug 2010 ANI

London, Aug 4 (ANI): A documentary, which followed Prince William during an official trip to Africa, will debut later this year.

The 60-minute film, which is part of Sky 1's autumn line-up, will show the Royal in Botswana during a visit to a wildlife conservation charity he supports.

The cameras also follow him as he takes a break from public duties and travels through the African countryside.

The second-in-line to the throne is royal patron of the trust, which supports and launches projects across the continent that help to safeguard endangered animals and educate local communities about how to live alongside wildlife.

"The film will include a rare opportunity for viewers to witness their future king in an environment he loves as he engages with the charity, its staff and its projects," the Scotsman quoted Nick Bullen, of Spun Gold TV which produced Prince William and the Tusk Project, as saying.

Prince William spent six days in Africa in June with his brother Harry, which included time in South Africa to support England in the World Cup. (ANI)
