London, July 20 (ANI): Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has been sending text messages to fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell telling him that she is bored and desperate to get back to work, the show's boss has revealed.
Cheryl took a break from the reality show after she contracted malaria during her trip to Tanzania with dancer boyfriend Derek Hough.
However, Simon said that she can't wait to return.
"The worst is over. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she's obviously on the mend," The Sun quoted Simon as saying.
"I've had a few texts from her over the last few days. Judging by the messages, she is really looking forward to going back to work," he added.
Simon also said that show bosses are trying to stop her from rushing back.
"Our job is to make sure she doesn't come back too quick. She's bored out of her brain and going crazy," Simon said. (ANI)
