London, Sept 15 (ANI): One of Carla Bruni's jilted lovers has taken his revenge with the French first lady by writing a fictional novel describing her as a "cold" woman who dumped him for his son.
Jean-Paul Enthoven, a silver-haired literary critic of 59, was left heartbroken when the Italian supermodel, singer and French first lady left him for his son Raphael, a professor of philosophy.
Later, Bruni even went on to have a child before she finally married President Nicolas Sarkozy, earlier this year.
In the tome, Enthoven disguises Bruni as Lavinia, a shopping-obsessed wealthy widow who comes to live with him in a mansion in the Moroccan city of Marra-kesh.
He, however, left his son out of the drama.
He has instead described his own bewitchment by the Italian beauty at a candlelit dinner on a terrace beneath the stars, and how she goes on to have an affair with another man.
However, the 40-year-old first lady is not new to being targeted via books.
Raphael's wife Justine Levy also wrote a hatred-filled fictional account of her break-up with her husband where she referred to the Italian temptress as "the Terminator".
The book has led many people speculating Bruni's reaction.
"It seems to me like a fairly bleak portrait," Times Online quoted Georges-Marc Benamou, a former Sarkozy cultural adviser, friend of the Lévys and regular guest at La Zahia, as saying. (ANI)
