Duchess of York sacks entire office staff to stave off bankruptcy

London, July 10 (ANI): In order to stave off bankruptcy, Fergie has sacked her entire office staff.

The Duchess of York, 50, made personal phone calls to each of her 12 tearful flunkies to explain why their jobs had gone.

But despite being 2 million pounds in the red, next week she flies to Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson's luxury home in the British Virgin Islands.

"Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds. If there is so little money, how is she able to swan off on yet another exotic holiday?" the Sun quoted an astonished aide as saying.

The staffs were thought to have been costing Fergie around 60,000 pounds a month in salaries.

One said the "very upset" Duchess "said to keep my chin up and when things turned up I'd get my job back. (ANI)
