Brit nurse spots image of Jesus on her drainpipe

London, June 30 (ANI): A British nurse has expressed her excitement after she spotted what looks like an image of Jesus on her drainpipe.

Alex Cotton, 38, who believes that the image in a creosote stain is a sign from God, even invited Pope Benedict to visit her Coventry home and bless it when he visits the Midlands on his trip to the UK in September.

Cotton revealed she called her friends to take a look at the "face", which resembles the imprint on the famous Turin Shroud.

"When I pointed it out, their reaction was just, 'Wow'," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"It's quite clearly Jesus. With the crown of thorns and beard, it can't be anyone else.

"God only knows why he chose my drainpipe to appear on, but I hope this won't mean floods of pilgrims flocking to my house after this," she added. (ANI)
