Melbourne, June 14(ANI): The Melbourne Police have set up an information caravan in an attempt to uncover the mystery behind the death of a 61-year-old Indian-origin man, Kewal Dhillon, in Balwyn North on June 6.

Dhillon's body was found under a footbridge crossing the Eastern Freeway near Carron Street with several stab wounds to his upper torso, that police believe would not have been fatal.

Police are now investigating whether he fell or was pushed from the bridge, as a line search of the area failed to locate a weapon.

"Police are hoping to piece together what happened to Dhillon between the time he left his home around dawn and when he was located," The Age quoted Detective Sergeant Stuart Bailey, from the homicide squad, as saying.

Detectives have also released a computer image of a man they want to interview, who was seen in the area by a dog-walker on the morning of Dhillon's death.

He is described as being 170 to 176 centimetres tall, aged 30 to 50 years old with dark skin and curly hair.

Dhillon was the director of Dhillon Real Estate, which has shop fronts in Doncaster and Hampton East.

Authorities believe that the 61-year-old had a happy marriage and home life with his wife and two adult sons.

Both sons are students and are involved in the family real estate business. (ANI)
