Sophie Dahl prepares Indian daal on TV show

London, Apr 16 (ANI): TV cook Sophie Dahl, who made her acting debut in 2004 in the long-forgotten movie King Of Bollywood, is preparing Indian dish daal on her show.

The ex-model, reinvented as a TV cook, has made it clear that she will not be making a return to the silver screen.

"It was the start and end of my acting career, I wasn't very good. The most hellish thing would be a choreographed dance while lip-synching in Hindi," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

But at least one good thing came out of the experience- her love of the Indian dish daal, which she prepares in her BBC2 show The Delicious Miss Dahl screened next Tuesday.

"I used to eat daal twice a day for three months while I was making the Bollywood film. Now I'm making Dahl's daal," she added. (ANI)
