Nov 23:   A serial blasts rocked three cities - Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh on Friday afternoon, leaving at least eight people dead and over a dozen injured.

Blasts occurred outside the city court of these cities.

While three persons were killed in the Faizabad blast, several others were injured in the Varanasi blast.

Initial sources say that the blast took place when a bomb kept in a cycle exploded.

The Home Ministry has termed it a terror strike. “One thing is clear that this is a conspiracy against our country. Surely the motive of this dread act is to disturb communal harmony”, said Sriprakash Jaiswal, Minister of State for Home. Further, he appealed to people to remain unite.
