Raipur/Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), Apr 7 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday said both the paramilitary and local forces would fight the Maoists in a more coordinated and integrated manner.
Talking about the strategy to fight the rebels, Singh said the forces would fight the Maoists according to a more integrated action plan.
"We have to fight the Maoists. Our strategy is that we have to fight against them in a more coordinated and well-prepared manner. The paramilitary forces and the local forces will fight the Maoists according to a more integrated action plan, so that the casualty is less and we succeed in our mission," said Singh.
The Chief Minister, who visited the Ram Krishna Care Hospital in Raipur along with Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, said the conditions of the four CRPF personnel injured are reported to be stable.
"The condition of four injured soldiers is stable. The doctors have taken out the bullets from their bodies. One had a bullet in his rib, another in his waist. We talked to all of them. All are out of danger and the doctors said that their condition is improving," he added.
Earlier in the morning, Singh along with Chidambaram, State Governor Shekhar Dutt, senior police and Home Ministry officials led the nation in paying homage to the 75 dead CRPF personnel in Jagdalpur District.
Chidambaram reiterated there was no operation called "Operation Green Hunt," and clarified that it is an operation launched by the State Governments with the support of central security forces. There is no Operation Green Hunt. At some time, one officer used the word. In many times earlier I have denied of any such operation," Chidambaram said. The operation is launched by the State Police and supported by the Central security agencies," he added. hidambaram also denied reports of non-cooperation between the state and central police.
