New Delhi, Mar 17 (ANI): Indian boxers won six gold medals on Wednesday at the Commonwealth Boxing Championship, scripting their names in history.
World No.1 Vijender Singh (75kg) won his bout against England's Frank Buglioni 12-3 to claim the gold medal in the fifth Commonwealth Boxing Championships.
Other boxers who won gold are Amandeep Singh (49kg), Asian champion Suranjoy Singh (52kg), Dinesh Kumar (81kg), Paramjeet Samota(91+ kg) and Jai Bhagwan (60 kg).
Jai Bhagwan (60 kg), who got a walkover in the semis, beat Valention Knowles while Suronjoy Singh (52 kg) got the better of Oliver Lavigi. (ANI)
