Burping before cops can land you in the slammer!
Melbourne, September 4 (ANI): A 19-year-old Australian man has landed himself into trouble by burping in a police station in Tully, south of Cairns, Queensland.
A Queensland police spokesman alleged that the man burped twice in the face of an administrative assistant at the front counter of the police station, and when asked to control himself, he began "swearing, became abusive to police and aggressive in front of others including an elderly woman waiting at the counter".

And when warned him not to swear, the man allegedly burped for a third time and walked out of the police station.
He was later arrested by the police, and taken to the watchhouse.
The 19-year-old is due to face Tully Magistrate's Court on September 15 over the ensuing public nuisance charge, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Innisfail Police District's David Tucker said that he did not know why the alleged burper had come to the police station in the first place.
He, however, warned that there would be "no tolerance" of anti-social behaviour towards employees at police stations in his region. (ANI)
