London, Jan 10 (ANI): The Football Association has no plans to increase England's World Cup security in the wake of the attack on Togo team bus in Angola.

FA officials have been busy liasing with other football bodies over the weekend to try to get a full picture of what happened in Cabinda, and of any consequences for England-based players at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The attack on the Togo team bus, which killed three people, has prompted renewed worries over security at World Cup 2010, News of the World reports.

An FA statement read: "Following the terrible events involving the Togo national football team in Angola yesterday, the FA has been in continual contact with all of the English clubs who have African Nations Cup players.

"We are also working closely with and being helpfully supported by the Premier League and the League Managers Association."

"The FA has also been in regular contact with FIFA to obtain as much information and guidance as possible. This has involved conversations with FIFA's general secretary. We have also spoken to the deputy general secretary of the African Football Confederation (CAF). The FA will maintain frequent contact with both organisations," the statement said.

A statement issued by FIFA president Sepp Blatter said: "FIFA were deeply moved by Friday's incidents which affected Togo's national team, to whom they express their utmost sympathy." (ANI)
