STORY: Hundreds of foreign tourists attended a sunburn dance at a beach in India's western tourist hotspot Goa on Monday (December 28).

The two-day sunburn dance festival, which concludes on Tuesday (December 29), is Asia's Premier Electronic Music Festival.

The festival, which is into its third year, has invited global clubbing brand and dance behemoth Gatecrasher for the label stage.

Shalindera Singh, organizer of sunburn dance festival said that India was fortunate to host the festival.

"Sunburn is a festival which allows you to be who you are and fortunately through the platform of music which I think is a universal language of celebration. I think we are really fortunate that Goa has India's own festival of music and dance called Sunburn which is not only India's largest but also Asia's number one," said Singh.

Sunburn gives a platform to the leading Indian electronica talent to share the same stage as the other global stars.

Indian electronica talents like Jalebee Cartel, Pearl, Ma Faiza and several others have partnered with Sunburn since its inception.

Spread over 3,700 square kms, Goa is one of India's prime tourist destinations.

Goa, which was a Portugese colony till 1961, boasts of millions of foreign and domestic tourists every year.
