Radiohead's Thom Yorke criticizes UK govt's nuclear plans
London, Nov 11 (ANI): Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has condemned the British government for its decision to build 10 new nuclear power stations.
While writing in his blog, the 41-year-old singer, who's a well-known campaigner for green issues, insisted that the country should not remain reliant on outdated energy sources, reports the Daily Express.

Under the heading "Nuclear power no thanks" the singer writes: "Under the confused assumption that we can carry on consuming power as we do now into the future and too afraid to think out of their own isolated political fuzzy cloud, the British government is committing to build a new round of nuclear power stations for which we don't have the money. Great. Just perfect. Well done fellas. You've really thought about this haven't you?"
The government is set to approve a new generation of reactors for sites across the country, with the plans set to be finalised by the end of the year. (ANI)
