Afridi best bowling all-rounder in one-day cricket currently: Boycott
Islamabad, Oct.31 (ANI): Former English opening batsman, Geoffrey Boycott, one of the all time greats, has called flamboyant Pakistan all rounder Shahid Afridi the best bowling all rounder in the world playing currently.
Speaking highly of Afridi's performance and talent, especially in the shorter versions of the game, Boycott termed the right-handed batsman and leg spinner as a pure 'entertainer'.

"Afridi is fantastic, I love watching him play the game of cricket. He's great for the game, he's an entertainer and I think he is currently the best bowling all rounder in the world when it comes to one day cricket," Boycott told PakPassion.net.
Boycott said Afridi is a kind of deceptive bowler, who causes problems even for some of the world's best batsmen.
"There are a lot of batsmen out there who cannot pick his bowling and I think he's an excellent wrist spinner," the former Yorkshire batsman said.
Speaking about his batting abilities, Boycott said no doubt Afridi has got tremendous talent with the bat too, but he has his own style and believes more in just blasting away the bowlers right from the moment he arrives at the crease rather than concentrating for first few deliveries.
"I feel that he can't concentrate for more than 3 deliveries and if he hasn't scored off 2 deliveries you know that something interesting is about to happen on that third delivery," he said. (ANI)
