London, October 11 (ANI): Britney Spears is planning to file for full custody of her children- Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three- before Christmas arrives.
Few months earlier Los Angeles Superior Court had awarded the singer temporary joint custody of the kids with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
But now, The 'Womanizer' hitmaker will launch the bid to regain full custody as soon she finishes her 'Circus' world tour next month.
Britney' father, who is presently in charge of her financial affairs, apparently feels that she is ready to take care of her kids after an 18-month "meltdown", which saw her landing twice in hospital psychiatric units, as well as rehab.
"Jamie is convinced that having the boys travel with her has given Britney the strength to be successful again," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.
Also, Federline may not oppose Britney's legal bid, according to a friend, "as long as he is granted full visitation rights".
The pal added: "Like her parents, he's been impressed by Britney's incredible comeback."
An insider said: "If all goes to plan, Sean and Jayden should be with her for Christmas." (ANI)
