Ozzy Osbourne 'devastated' after pet dog's death

London, July 09 (ANI): Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly has revealed that her father is devastated after a coyote ate their pet dog.

The Pomeranian was apparently killed while the rock star and his wife were watching Michael Jackson memorial on TV, which stopped them from hearing the dog's yelps.

"He is devastated - she was his other woman," the Sun quoted Kelly Osbourne as saying.

A source close to the family also added: "Sharon and Ozzy love their dogs to bits. It's like losing a family member. They are both devastated."

However, pals had fun linking the incident with Osbourne's notoriety early in his career when he bit the head of a live dove during a meeting with record executives and chomped off the head of a bat after mistakenly thinking it was a rubber toy.

A friend said: "Maybe the coyote was friends with the dove's family? So many people are linked in Hollywood. Whatever the case it's still Ozzy 2, Animal Kingdom 1."

Another pal added: "Maybe it was Wile E Coyote - mind you, he never caught the Road Runner."

The family has 18 dogs at their sprawling home in Tinseltown.

Ozzy's wife, Sharon is a regularly visits Los Angeles stray dog home to bring home more pets. (ANI)
