Barcelona want ace striker Eto'o to stay with them for life

London, June 22 (ANI): Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants striker Samuel Eto'o to ignore Manchester City's millions and stay at the Nou Camp for life.

The Cameroon striker is on Mark Hughes' wish list, as the City boss looks to spend his massive transfer fund.

Eto'o is also on the radar of a host of top European clubs, but Laporta reckons Barca can persuade him to stay in Spain. Eto'o is the best striker in the world, highly valued in the market. It would be nice if he could finish his career at Barca," The Sun quoted Laporta, as saying.

"His contract ends next season and that requires us to sit and talk. The club wants him to continue for many more years, always in line with our wage structure," he added. (ANI)
