Bollywood film on human-god friendship all set to woo audience

Mumbai, June 5 (ANI): A new film revolving around the life of a young girl, who is friends with Lord Hanuman, is all set to woo the audiences.

'Maruti Mera Dost' revolves around the life of Rameshwari, who has lost her mother and is being brought up by her father.

Troubles descend upon Rameshwari with the entry of a stepmother in her life, who is accompanied by an old woman who plots to kill her father to attain his wealth.

The film involves lots of action and stunts as Maruti tries to save Rameshwari from the clutches of the evil forces.

Child actor, who plays the role of Maruti, said he was not afraid to perform the stunts.

"I have the strongest role in this movie. I have also defeated many evil characters who had wanted to kill Rameshwari. I've also performed a number of stunts in this movie," said Erik A. Nanda, who plays the role of Maruti.

Her friendship with Hanuman, who is famous by the name of 'Maruti' in local dialect in Maharashtra, forms the focal point of the film.

"The entire movie revolves around Rameshwari. She is a small, little, sweet girl who loves her family very much. She is a devotee of Hanuman and believes him to be her best friend," said Ritika Shrivastava, who plays the role of Rameshwari.

The film includes around 22 minutes of visual effects, ranging from compositing to tornados to 3D animated flying masks to actual looking creatures.

The film that also marks the comeback of Bollywood actor Chandrachud Singh, after a long sabbatical, released on Friday. (ANI)
